May is Military Appreciation month; a fitting time for the selection process of applications submitted for the EANGUS Guardian Scholarship Program at Kaplan University. From the applicants, 3 full scholarships and up to 25 partial scholarships will be awarded to EANGUS/Auxiliary or their family members.
The university also recognizes the National Guard Enlisted Member and their families for their contribution and sacrifice to their community and the nation. It’s inspiring to think of America’s future if we had more National Guard members teaching in our schools, leading our businesses or representing us in Government.
We need not guess about what is possible; the evidence can be found in our not so distant past. Following WWII, America’s veterans came home and built the infrastructure, social programs, and economy that made America the envy of the world.
Our hope is that these scholarships will enable more EANGUS/Auxiliary, Family, and Service Members an opportunity to obtain an education at a reduced cost. If you have not applied, you still have until Friday 5/13 to do so. Learn more at EANGUS.Kaplan.edu.
